Post by upcreek »

I just started kayak fishing within the past three weeks, I was curious if there are any area in the Pinellas Area that have restricted fishing laws?? I'm just trying to avoid a fine when possible. Thanks :?:

If you find anything resticted it should be posted somewhere in plain site.

Best known are the Weedon Power Plant, Apollo Beach Power Plant, a few areas at Shell Key, Manibirtee Key, Macdill. I may be missing a few.

NOT... so the FWC told me last year ... I didn't get ticketed because I wasn't in the area marked but a nearby kayaker did.
