Film's title is Water's Journey: Everglades

It's airing on WUSF 2 @ 3am and 4am on 7\20

then again @ 1pm and 2pm on 7\22

Very in depth on it's history, development and current restoration.

I enjoy documentaries, but admittedly most of them are snoozefests....this one however is excellent!

Didn't they do another one like that about the St. Johns River? I enjoyed that one.

The film company http://www.karstproductions.com/waters_journey.html also made another in the "Water's Journey:" series named "The Hidden Rivers of Florida".

I'm pretty sure I saw this one. They had a dive team with a beacon, and a team on foot tracking their path. They meandered under neighborhoods and through peoples houses, through a supermarket, a strip mall, and a golf course (of course). Along the way they saw numerous well pipes sticking down. Definitely a unique perspective.
