Looks like Wilderness is going after the Native market. That looks like a 12fter. I hope they come out with a 14. Looks interesting :!:

Here check this out...looks like it will be abit heavy for a 12fter as well..

Sure looks small. Maybe it's just the tiny pics.

Found this LINK though.

Without having seen a picture of the bottom, the hull design looks a lot like the Ride. (at least from the cockpit view)

Yes it is Chris.

There are also two seats in the kayak. You can use the one shown or slide that under the back and sit in a top perch. It is shown in the link I posted above.

This boat should be available in September.

I think it is a great looking boat...but two people in a 12fter  :?:

That is just too crowded...at least for fishing...and the boat is heavy at 60lbs. I wouldn't want anything less than a 14 if you are going to put 2 people in it.

It is not built for two people Norm, take a look at the pics in the link above. It is made to have two seating options. One low and one on a higher perch.

Ok, that makes more sense...but...its still going to be heavy for a 12fter . Looks like it may have a tad lower profile than the Native, but with the wider beam...how will that effect the overall speed. The Native 12 is slow :!:

Heavy? In comparison a Native Ultimate 12 (closest to comparison I could find) is 55 lbs without the seat. The commander 12 is 60 lbs with the seat.
