I need a ruling here...

Post by Heywood »

....does the P-F.com slam (trout, redfish, snook) Supersede the FWC west coast slam (red, snook, tarpon).

Somebody I know caught the grand slam today and doesnt believe me.

You ain't gonna win this one Billy. I appreciate the accolade and I guess it's some kind of slam but grand it isn't. I was short a trout.

It depends if you are more into the independant outdoor hardened rugged individual mind set or the robotic do what the goverment says goverment teet sucking welfare sort.

And it is not a GRAND SLAM without the 4th fish.

I agree. Still sounds like a hell of a day though. Are we going to see a report?

Tampa Bay Slam = redfish, snook and trout.
Tampa Bay Grand Slam = the above PLUS a tarpon.

Further south we have a Florida Keys Slam = bonefish, permit and tarpon.

No pics. None were caught on the fly. All the fish were fairly small. Lost a slot snook on a jump. That's what I get for having a stringer on board.
If I hadn't Grand slammed before I'd still be out there looking for a trout.

Its not a slam unless they are all in or above slot, grand slam needs the tarpon.

Bill I'm going off you, I'm the one who has to put up with the Leg-end inflated ego, and you aint helping
