Bradenton Area

Post by shallow pockets »

Brent and I fished the Bradenton area yesterday finding some good Trout on the flats. Most of the fish were in the slot but a few were over. The largest of the day was 26" 6lbs.It seems the fishing is getting better every day.

Gotta love that. I have never been able to catch a trout that big. I was at Buttonwood yesterday and only managed a couple small trout.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

yep.
those small ones that survived 2005 red tide are now maturing. The bigger ones are now the pigs of over 25"
