Would anyone be interested in a LSB fish off?
My idea would be to launch anywhere on LSB.
We'd give out chips the night before at the Baywood Rod and Gun Club.
It would help to settle the discussion once and for all who is the best - because i'm almost certain it's me.
Low key, low cost. Local.
Anybody interested?
How does May 22 sound?

1. from the N siesta bridge to the Blackburn Pt. Bridge - Any launch OK
2. 7am - 12 Fishing - judging at 12:30 - Captain Kurts
3. biggest 3 fish wins. Red, Trout or Snook - Not a slam - total inches
4. Artificial only. No gulp or bait.
5. $20 entry - 50% to winner, 50% to Sarasota Bay Watch
6. Fish caught on fly get 3 bonus inches
What do you guys think?

This should decide many things.
Also, be aware that LSB is a treacherous body of mostly dead water. Very few fish. Extremely wary.
I doubt non locals (read NOTE) will be able to catch much more than a buzz...
