Nice catches and as always my instinct to stay home was dead wrong! The hour drive with an hour left of sunlight was a deterrent.
Vibrams, nice. Started rehabbing my feet going barefoot on the grass and those are the next best things. Didn't think of using em for kayaking.

thats a nice snook...enjoyed really sucky day on the water with not so lucky fisherman...should have been here yesterday, right? I am basically out of flys and cant fish except for tarpon...been waiting for materials for 5 solid weeks...no dreads = no fish

I did see a couple haulin ass but usual high winds stopped them from being happy...now the weather sucks but the rain might cool the water...now you must worry about salinity factor as the canal gates will open...this is not good for bones or much else except maybe tarpon and bull sharks...for me to be shut down with 3 bones for the yr is worse than when I 1st started....6 weeks left before the huge tides begin

Good point about the canal openings, fresh water way out on the flats.
May have to drive way south for any chances at bones these days.
