Noles they stole your idea. Noles built a rod for me over a year ago with micro guides.

Castaway also added new rods with their camouflaged patterns........ these new rods make use of actual water photography and hydrographic printing technology to create actual water pictures on rods. This water camouflage helps hide the rod from the fish

Micro guides have been around for about 5 years now at least, it defies logic to me. I remember when the hipe was a huge first ring to improve casting, now they are saying just the opposite? I haven't tried one yet I admit. I just have the standard stuff. I don't quite get the guide in a guide thing though Looks like it would just add weight.

Hmmmm ... can you say "Banjo Minnow"!??

Hell, I don't know how I've caught fish all these years without one of these camo rods. Just lucky I guess.

After all these years I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. If I had a camo rod I would have caught a lot more fish over the years.

Looks like just another marketing gimick to me. Hurry up PBR, buy one of these so we can have a 20 page thread about it.

I dont think the color of the rod matters but I think the camo rod looks cool. My point was about the guide he designed, the micro guide idea is not new, but that first guide the line hits is. :study:

I would reply on this, we could easily take this to 20 pages.

But someone has been talking out of turn, so I wont.

Actually the whole rod get's lighter because the microwave guide allows for smaller susequent guides I believe he told me the rest of the guides were 4.5's.
