And don't go out on the water at midnight in a strong wind in a tippy canoe. Very sad and preventable death.

Shortly after midnight, Hayes went fishing in a canoe with Michael Paul Duey, 19, of Auburndale. When they were in the middle of the lake, the canoe tipped over and both men went into the water, reports said.
