I finally found Cow Creek. It's at the end of the Road to Nowhere!

Everyone should at a minimum send him an email: [email protected]

Lighting up his phone lines would also help get the point across that his bill is a bad one: 772-219-1665

I called the number yesterday and a real person answered. She took down my information and was surprisingly polite. Hopefully that will change as the call volume increases

This has to be the shortest bill ever written. Effective date is 7/1/2011!!

Full verbiage here.

Called - left VM - will call again this afternoon. BTW - Calling carries a bunch more weight than an email.

Will post the jpeg on other fishing sites too.

So, are we against all fishing licenses? Just asking.

Any idea what the logic is here?? Especially for eliminating OUT OF STATE license fees? Does this guy really believe that people aren't coming to FL to fish because of a $5/day fee??? Doesn't he know it's 3x that much in most other fishing destination states?

Something about excessive government intrusion.

What he seems to forget is that if the state doesn't have licenses we will than fall under the federal licensing system.

The fishing license fees is one of those fees where we really do get our money's worth. The money we pay is matched with federal money and goes directly to sport fishing. It isn't dumped in the general fund to pay for executive washrooms.
