Ft De Soto trout?

Hello,

I am new to kayak fishing and just bought two new perception caster 12.5 kayaks from dicks a few days ago. Im planning on taking them out for their maden voyage this saturday and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share some nice spots within Fort De Soto I may be able to catch some trout or other species to break in the new kayaks?

Find 3' to 4' of clear water over a large grass bed. Work the entire water column until you find the right lure depth.
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley
