My son and I got out on the water today at CRB. This was his first real trip out on the kayak with his old man. It was a cool morning starting out.
Not knowing how the fish would react with these past couple of cool days. Our test run last summer was just that no fish at all. So I was hoping I could find him some line burners. I was looking for a line burner for a 9 year old. Your so called lady fish. The ladies are perfect for a youngster that doesn't care and just wants to fish. It started pretty slow. It took some searching but, we finally found a few takers. He ended up landing a few lady fish and a couple of trout. It was such a great day on the water with my son and seeing him pull in those fish.

Thats awesome! Heres my son Garrett first time out in his new kayak this week, maybe we can get him in the tournamets! 27 in snook. Yes he out fished me!
