Pre-Fishing for the PFTS

I have had two PM's recently and was asked the question at the weigh in Saturday about our prefishing rule.
14. Pre-Fishing
No pre-fishing the area set forth in the boundaries will be allowed the Monday through Friday preceding each event.
I hope that everyone throughout the series has lived up to the wording and, more importantly, the intent of the rule.
The intent of the rule is to give everyone a fair chance at fishing areas that are new to them. Not everyone has the chance to get out every weekend or the chance to get out the week prior to an event, by not allowing prefishing five days before an event gives all anglers a fair shot.
We rely on personal honor and integrity to enforce the rule. Having others do your prefishing is no different, in my opinion, than yourself prefishing an area.
