Picture rules

In the past it's been a bendable rule. Newer folks were sometimes allowed to keep the pic in the post but I'd send them a PM. This year it is a hard and fast rule.
Pictures of vertically hung fish are not allowed on this site and will be deleted without notice.
The reasons are simple. It is bad for the fish, it sets a bad precedent for others and it makes for a bad photograph.
It also falls under the "do unto others" rule. If someone was taking a picture of you, would you rather they hang you from your jaw or support you horizontally while they set up the picture?
And, no, 'taking it home for dinner' is not an acceptable excuse.
For those affected by this, please don't take it personally. It has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with the fish.
