new to the site, new to my native, but fished out of my prowler for 6 years. looking for sagacious council re tricking out my new yak . also want to start fishing further off shore for bigger finny critters and could use some new fishing buddies i also enjoy brewing beer and i am a ton of fun to fish with!

I live in the vicinity. I've brewed a batch of beer (ready to do another) but mostly make wine. I haven't fished out of a kayak, but I have paddled around Lake Maggiore a few times getting used to it. Going to try and get out this weekend just to paddle around pinellas point. I might bring my pole, but I mainly want to get the feel of the wave action and build up my paddling endurance. My availability is spotty, but if you want to buddy up fishing sometime, I'm game.
