Here is a rod I built for an Auburn alum. It is on an MHX 2 piece Popping Rod blank. The blank is 7' rated for 8# to 15# line. It is the first time I have used NCP thread. I had to get the colors right so regular nylon was out of the question (I hate color preserver). The cork handle is a combination of natural cork and burl. The guides are Fuji Alconite set up using the New Concept guide spacing system.
