I think I have seen that question before somewhere.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Yup. Went 1 for 3. Lined one and pulled the hook on the other. It's a riot to see them try to eat gurglers. They are so light and boyant they have a tough time getting them in their mouths sometimes but they keep trying.

Haven't fished much lately because of my job at the TB Times. Gave my notice a while ago. Going into freelance writing. Got a couple stories coming up in the next Drake, Dave R's favorite mag. Last day at the Times will be in late March, early April. Will resume the sight fishing quest then.

I came up in the newspaper business as a career reporter/writer; I won't miss being a supervisor/editor. Too much time in the office. Less time for fishing. It's been tough.
