I still think a team tournament would be interesting and Im going to say this and im not afraid to say one thing i learned about fishing a tournament or doing anything was to pray for safety before i even left the sign in. Im not saying we have to do this but i thought it was really cool when we went to jville and they prayed before anyone ever hit the water. Sorry its what was on my heart. What about a father/daughter or father/son tourney.

If you'd like to organize a parent/child tournament on this site, go for it. I can offer some assistance from the web side. It won't work as part of the PFCS.

Team event - the PFCS is a challenge. It challenges your ability to adapt. Why should there be a team? Did you fish as a team today? Nope, you went out with some guys and did your thing. But, if you want to step up and be in charge of one of the legs and make it a team event, go ahead.

Hey I just joined a few months ago for the tourneys! Ah, but I didn't have a chance winning anyway. 6 months fishing and I still haven't caught my 1st Red or Snook. But I do catch a mean Spec or two.

But really, I'd do it for just the camaraderie, you're a great group to hang 10 with, and maybe I'll learn a thing or two. I'm all in!

We’re also looking for folks who would like to step up and be the boss of an event. You’ll make the lure choice, find the location for the Pic n’ Sip, collect money at the sign in and be made famous as you announce the winners. You’ll also be the last one to leave the sign in. It does get lonely standing there all by yourself as everyone else has gone off to launch but that is the price of fame.

Hey guys, new-ish to forum. Do we just show up to event to fish or need to pre-register somewhere? If so where?

Thanks and look forward to my first tourney.

A couple weeks before each date there will be a when/what/where post. On that post we ask folks to chime in if they are going to fish it.

That is not a sign in. The sign in us at 6 or so in the morning on the day of.

Btw, welcome

I think I might be able to handle one Todd....my only question is...would I have to come up with the bags, pens, chips with numbers ect...or would this get passed from tournament manager to tournament manager?

If downtown St Pete isn't too far away, I would love to have the Pic n Sip for the Weedon challenge at my restaurant, the St Pete Brasserie. I know Harvey's is the place we normally go, but just thought I would throw it out there. More than happy to discount normal prices for all of us too. Would also be happy to help Heywood out with putting this one on, since it is in my backyard & I know I will be missing the 1st challenge. I will also donate a $25 gift certificate to my restaurant each tournament for the raffle. I look forward to doing this every year and would love to see it continue, so just let me know what I can do to help. :salute:
