PFCS#3 - Date Poll - DATE PICKED

Post by Rik »

This is the event that was supposed to be on Nov 17th but was postponed due to weather.

This event is sponsored by Aqua Dream. Here was the original announcement post: http://paddle-fishing-forum.com/viewtop ... 39&t=37430" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We need to come up with a make up date. Since it is spoons, my inclination is to do it in April. Probably a better chance at a good catching day in April. However, I'm not the only guy who has a say in this.

IF YOU WILL BE FISHING IN THIS please cast a vote.

Want to firm this up on Friday.

DATE PICKED - APRIL 13TH

The 27th of April looks like a good tide day...if my vote counts.
I can't say it is right or wrong, all I know is something isn't right.

It counts if you plan on fishing the event!

Don't care which month, just make the launch & weigh-in times 2 hours earlier than the last event & I'll be there.

It will be Dave. That was a January thing last weekend. If it had been the 30 degree day we've had in the past, that 8 am would have been welcome. I have not fond memories of windy, 31 degree, pitch black, January sign ins.

I've actually shifted my fishing to late starts - even afternoon to evening. I sleep better and don't freeze in the AM. Seems to be just as effective - tide dependent of course. I thought that the late start was fine and a welcome break.

Looks like April. The later the better, I would say. When it really gets warm in the spring & the reds starting schooling up, I can't wait to get out there with a spoon
