The Old Man Tears Them Up on the River

Hank joined me today for some fly fishing at a new spot that both of us have been wanting to try for years. I'd rate the action 4 on a scale of 10. Still, it was fun. We caught bass, bluegill and stumpknocker -- mostly on poppers. A few fish were caught on my Myakka Minnow and a nymph under a strike indicator.

We used 3- to 5-weight fly rods.

It was a nice day and a learning experience.
I always learn something every time I go. Usually it is, oh oh, what the heck do I do now?

Remind me to tell you about my bass trip to Lake Weiss a life time ago. :bounce:

Thanks for the tag along pass Gib. :thumbleft:
