Here are a couple of lies I've been using around Sarasota Bay. I've been catching lots of trout, snook, redfish, bluefish, mackerel and jack crevalle. The Greenback works well on a floating line in shallow water. I use the Clouser on a sink tip line in deeper water. I tie the material far back on the long-shank hook. That way the hook shank acts as a mini wire tippet when blues and macks are chomping. I do use Epoxy on the head (not seen here) of the Greenback to keep the eyes on. The Greenback is tied with Steve Farrar's SLF Blend.
