Caladesi slow day

Acres of mullet tide very slow but high. No bites, hours later no bites, one pin fish. Finally 1 bite 1 red fish unfortunately for the red it was over 20. One hour later after no bites I looked at the red on my stringer and saw a 4' shark moving in. It had already come within rod reach but broke off when I gave it a poke. That was the last straw I called it a day.
