I mainly use:
Stradics, though occasionally still brake out the old Penns.
I have a TFO spinning rod that I have been very happy with. I will say that they are stiffer than advertised, a med/lt is more like a Med in other brands. Med more like MH.
I'm also very fond a Shimano Teramar rods as well as a few AllStars.
I do have to mention that I still have a Penn spinning reel that I bought when I was 15, I'm 48 now. It's noisy, rough and works every time. Many many fish have found there way to the pan via that old reel
