"Tight Work Bro, Tight Work"

Post by Heywood »

My Bro KPMiggs called up and axked if I was up for a morning session Sunday, I said “sure am, that’s what I live for”. He told me Wooban would be going us, to which I replied “Allsome, you guys have been doing some tight werk lately”. So we meet up bright and early and who else shows up, the better half of Team Pro Bass, Blindmullett. Well the sea was angry on this morning, a heavy fog blanket was covering the water, but despite it, we paddled out to rip some lips.

Conditions were tough, the gin clear water making the redfish very spooky, but soon I heard a cry of “Blamo, it’s a Mogan”. Being so foggy, I couldn’t tell who was on the fish. We lost Ken after a while, so the three of us continued on, seeing several large schools of reds pushing water. Still we could not get them to eat. Finally I hooked up with a fatty trout, Woo, who was near by yells out through the fog “Oh son, that’s Noiiiice”. It was noiiice, after being laid up for several weeks, I was just happy to be out on the water.

Wooban loading up the buggy whip.

It wouldn’t be a good report without the nature shot.

On a more serious note, this is the new Tarpon 160i that Wilderness Systems and The Andy Thornal Company have donated for the Paddle Around the Bay, which begins on Feb. 2nd. Once completed, this kayak will be auctioned off with all proceeds going the American Heart Association.

Schweet report, dude.

Glad to see you are back on the water. Let me know when you start selling raffle tickets for the new ride.

Just to clarify, blindmullet is not the better half of team pro bass.

Thank you,

Dont I wish, but thanks just the same. I get lucky sometimes.
