Time to re-rig the new Hobie and at least have the option of getting rid of the milkcrate which holds five rod holders.
Is there some place to buy those black PVC things that stick into an angled "cup style" flush mount and hold a couple of rods? Or - horrors - do I have to make it myself?

I finally found Cow Creek. It's at the end of the Road to Nowhere!
Terry-I doubt anyone makes those. They afre a simple DIY project. Buy some 1 1/4" PVC pipe and some T's or 45's and you can work away and design it exactly how you like it.
The best thing is if you make a mistake it will only cost you about .50.
You know what La Quinta means in English? Behind Dennys. MarkM

I thought Al Gore invented Kayak Fishing..........Maybe it was Kite Flying...no no it was Snow Boarding ahh I remember now it was Bored Speaking..........and the Internet.........
DirtyDave - you are on. Sure wish you still lived nearby because I need two anchor trolleys and the pvc things. There is no way I'm going to get a drill near my kayak or anyone else's.

Terry.
I can build them and mail the holders to you for the cost of the coating and shipping.
I found a new coating that will not come off of PVC nomatter how hard the knocks are.
The anchor trolley you would have to bring here or I can (probably, depending on the scedule) come to you on AMI during my travels North next week.
