It does long enough to grab it when you drop it in the water....I didn't say HOW long it floats, but I will time it here in a sec.....If you insist..
There better be 5-6 hot chicks in bikinis in it.

You can round up 5-6 hot chicks for the hot tub "in a sec"? Dayum, you're good!
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

He can save the wasted water and just listen to me unless it's bathtime. 8) Once the surface tension of the water is broken it sinks. Especially if it falls in at an straight angle. Acrylic is not buoyant like the PVC measuring boards most of us have which in essence is a dense, extruded PVC 'foam' (Styrene) which contains small amounts of air.

Take a CD, tape the hole for good measure and drop it into a pot of water. Go watch Titanic.

Speaking from personal experience......by the time you realize it is gone, it will have already sunk to the bottom.

If need be...I have a Hot Tub that I would be more than happy to provide for the girls, and will do my duty as well and even throw in free photography services.

If a measuring board doesn't float and floating is such a concern.. why not use a lanyard? My measuring device is made of stainless, Not sure how well it would work as a paddle but I know it could double as an anchor.

All thermoplastics expand and contract in the heat/cold. That is not nearly thick enough to notice anything plus we are not going from the sun to the dark side of the moon. Why so negative. It looks good I may want a new one my screws holding mine together are rusting.
ChrisR wrote:Just a work of caution, Acrylic expands and contracts with changes in temperatures. I don't know how much it would expand on a piece that size, but it could alter the length of a fish being measured.
Looks like a very nice board though.

Im fairly certain I wasn't negative. Pretty sure I told him it looked good. Just stating a fact. I have worked with sign faces that expanded in the Florida heat. They were a little bit larger, but like I said, I don't know how much a piece this size would expand/contract. They were made from 1/4" acrylic. I still think its a nice board. By far the nicest looking one I have ever seen.
