Crazy Charlie

Post by Wuluf »

Has anyone had any success with a Crazy Charlie pattern for anything other than a Bonefish? I was going to tie a few of these if they are effective on other fish. Thanks!

You can catch just about everything on them. North Florida stocked pond rainbows to bonito in Mexico. More locally: trout, redfish, flounder, pompano, sheepshead, pinfish.... Just about anything that eats small shrimp or minnows.

I agree, sort of like a mini clouser. I think there are other patterns that work better for flats fishing, but I have had luck with them on pompano and trout.

Fantastic! I am hopefully on my way back to Florida so I can put them to use.
