In the annual season of thanks I have to think of all of you in the Paddle-Fishing.com community. This site has been around for many, many years. We've seen new sites pop up and fizzle out while this one continues to refresh year after year.

The strength and longevity is a testament to both the 'old timers' who have been here for well over a decade AND the newcomers that bring new blood. Both bring tremendous value to the site.

Thank you all for making this site what it is. If I could ask for one wish it would be that everyone bring in one more person in the next year.

Be safe through the holidays. Give your loved ones one more hug and know that regardless of the personal struggles we may have, this is the best country in the world and we are all very fortunate to live here.

Wish me luck fellas, flying to the Atl. tonight to drive my oldest home. Hope the weather will at least let me get there.

He is a rookie Police officer and has to work tonight. We will celebrating Christmas in the Chapman tomorrow when we are all together, this the longest he has not been home. He left to begin his career as a Police officer last December (27th).

He'll be coming home for five days and will get out in the kayak sometime during the week.

Make sure to hug your loved ones tight....
