Still and hot

Post by DaveR »

Must be summer. Rik, Bill, and I hit the flats. Only picture worthy fish was landed by The Irishman. Did I mention that it was still and hot?

Was hot out there this morning with little breeze. I caught a red too. Mine was about 8 inches long. I skipped the picture.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Still and hot? My daughter and I went to Simmons yesterday and the flats were rocking. I had a hard time controlling the canoe. We had to head inside the mangroves.

It was hot though

Nice red Bill! What'd you fool her with?
It was brutal out there today, I traded a lot of sweat for one ladyfish. Thank goodness the beer was cold! :drunken:

This is why I concentrate on the scallops this time of year, not so bad if in the water. Too bad my stomping grounds are flooded again this year with fresh water.
